Three months later. As they prepare to accept a prestigious award from their alma mater, Sean grows increasingly tired of covering up Christian's numerous indiscretions, a pattern going back to their first initial meeting in college. Kimber, now married to Christian and working as an interior decorator, heads up the remodeling of the McNamara/Troy practice, but continues to worry about Christian's fidelity. {I would have gone the way of the "1" again, but the back-story and all the pretty girls are taken into account, though the pleasant memories quickly fade when... well, let me explain it effectively: look at the picture here of Dan Daly, who has chewed off his own lips, some people might find THAT entertaining, some people ARE EVEN SURE to find it hilarious, I sure don't}
The other reviewer here, Galina from Virginia, basically sums it up, and I'm glad to see I am not the only disgruntled "fan" but the big difference is that I am swept along because I bought the series lock, stock and barrel at an early stage after having seen only a few episodes. For the most part, I find the Sixth Season to be the sick season, and I might in any case not have kept up with it had I brought them in at a slower rate.
That said, I agree with the notion that the back-story shown here in this episode is what the show is all about. I'm not getting nuts about the actors, though, I am thoroughly and heartily sick of Dr. Christian Troy and plastic surgery presented as blood sport for the feeble-minded vulture viewers out there.
This show has overstepped all boundaries of decency and indecency alike. And that comes from a free-thinking guy who isn't easily offended, who is an enemy of censorship, and believes in freedom of expression.
I would be very careful before I'd remotely label NIP/TUCK as entertainment. I have frequently used the word "ghoul" in my episodic reviews. The word's actual meaning is something that NIP/TUCK's true fans really should do some research on, it is not just something that runs around on Halloween night.
The titular character in this episode much needed to be put out of his misery. Just like this show deserves to be put to sleep.
Just think, no more Christian, no more Matt, no more Kimber. :)
