Trivia

Rob Riggle plays then-Lieutenant Colonel Max Bowers, former battalion commander of the 5th Special Forces Group. Riggle, a Marine, actually served directly under the real Bowers during the same time period the movie is based on. According to Riggle, Bowers "loved" his representation in the film. See more »

Goofs

When the teams are calling in heavy bombers to engage targets, they state the target is "danger close". Danger close is within 600 meters, and the targets in this scene appear to be about 75-100 meters away. The bombs are dropped and the enemy is taken out. In fact, the bombs would also have killed the friendly forces, as the concussion of 250-lb. bombs (the smallest carried by heavy bombers) would kill within a 100-meter radius. See more »

I liked it. Heaven knows why but it's worth seeing. Make up your own mind as it's one of those movies that you need to form your own opinion about.
