In 1987, five young men, using brutally honest rhymes and hardcore beats, put their frustration and anger about life in the most dangerous place in America into the most powerful weapon they had: their music. Taking us back to where it all began, Straight Outta Compton tells the true story of how these cultural rebels-armed only with their lyrics, swagger, bravado and raw talent-stood up to the authorities that meant to keep them down and formed the world's most dangerous group, N.W.A. And as they spoke the truth that no one had before and exposed life in the hood, their voice ignited a social revolution that is still reverberating today.Written by
Night club and studio runner Lonzo is Alonzo Williams, who along with Dr. Dre and DJ Yella were in the group World Class Wreckin' Cru, famous for the song "Turn Off The Lights" (featuring an early appearance of singer Michel'le) and for wearing lace gloves à la many 80s R&B acts. See more »
When Dr. Dre is shown shifting gears in the Ferrari Testarossa, the shifter is not from a Ferrari. The shifter on a Testarossa is much longer and thin with a ball-type knob. See more »
I am totally disenchanted that I wasted my time and money in seeing one of the most awful movie ever. Mean rappers who violate every law and live a meaningless life where every kind of sin is allowed . These gangsters are not peaceful rebels at all,but evil and aggressive rappers who respect no one and whose atrociousness and uncontrollable instincts made them more like beasts rather than human beings. The story of five horny sex slaves who seek pleasure in pornography and explicit sex. The music is absolutely lousy and noisy. Believe it or not :This is a disgusting movie. See this movie on your own responsibility.
