Storyline
Series follows renowned Oakland dog trainer, Jas Leverette, as he runs one of the top dog training facilities in California.
Jas trains protection dogs, but his basic methods can be used for companion dogs as well. This short introductory series kept me watching because of the dogs, because it made me remember some things I had learned back in 4H, because of the passion that Jas has for making good lives possible for dogs that could otherwise be given up or even destroyed by people who don't know where to begin with them. I'm hoping for a season 2 with plenty of regular people dealing with their dogs in various ways. My favorite episode in this first season was the last one, with Jeanette, an ordinary person, living a heroic life among dogs.
