The show opens with Jimmy in his dressing room, where Conan O'Brien is still packing up his things. After the opening credits, Jimmy introduces announcer Steve Higgins and house band the Roots. Jimmy hosts a game, "Lick It for Ten," in which audience members win $10 for licking a lawnmower, a printer, or a fishbowl. Robert De Niro talks about the Tribeca Film Festival. Jimmy shows a clip of a fake movie starring himself and De Niro called "Space Train." Justin Timberlake promotes the reality/game show "The Phone" of which he is an executive producer and sings part of John Mayer's song "Daughters." Van Morrison performs his song "Sweet Thing."
