      Willie Garson died during production, at the age of 57. In a touching interview with Stephen Colbert, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon revealed the cast and crew were not informed of his condition when production began. Davis broke in tears, when describing going to work without him: "It's hard. I wish he was here".

    Way too much focus on gender, racism etc.
    It felt pretty nostalgic watching this and I don't think the writing is as bad as people are saying.

    However, what ruined the show for me was the "wokeness" that just felt so forced and made me cringe. I think representation in film is important, but this is just over-the-top with too much focus on gender / racism / identity / discrimination. Doesn't feel natural. And that Che Diaz character who is supposed to add a humorous touch to the show is just so unfunny I almost couldn't handle it.
