Street gangs try to steal the best weapon known to humankind
1 October 2010 | by See all my reviews

A must see short film for all the 80's action fans, homage to 80's action flicks. Its a Sci-fi set in the 1995 future New Jersey where the gangs rule the streets. Dr.Skin creates the perfect weapon to bring peace, Magnum Pussoir. The film is full of familiar characters from all the action movies we watched growing up. But at the same time its a roller coaster full of surprises and twists. It is hard to not laugh or smile as one goes through the experience of watching this homage. Its old but so fresh. Its sour but sweet. Its all of the above and everything below. It is a great film experience that leaves you wondering how a nine minute short can take me to this many emotions and memories. I wish the producer and the director has had submitted the film to more than 2 festivals.
