Marvel made a killing in film nominations, with “Avengers: Infinity War” picking up 10, “Black Panther” grabbing 9 and “Thor: Ragnarok” earning another 7. On top of that, “Panther” had another couple of bids for the songs from its soundtrack. The films are split into different categories, giving the Marvel Cinematic Universe the chance to dominate across genres. “Avengers” led the way among action films, while “Panther” and “Ragnarok” were in the running for sci-fi prizes.
“Riverdale” led the TV field with 12 nominations including Choice TV Drama, which it won last year.
