The Skelton Estate has released this program on a bonus DVD with two versions - one the dress rehearsal and second the episode as aired. In the telecast adaptation, the Willie Lump Lump sketch has been dropped and the time taken up by Red Skelton announcing that this was his final program for NBC but that he would return in the fall for CBS. Red thanked his sponsors for his two years at NBC in what appeared to be a heartfelt statement. The premise of the Deadeye skit concerned the imminent cancelation of Deadeye's cowboy kids' show due to low ratings. Deadeye hopes to save his program by changing his character to a space cowboy. The unseen skit from the dress rehearsal program concerns Willie Lump Lump's paranoia at being followed home by a police officer. It turns out the cop merely wanted to sell a ticket to the policeman's ball to Willie. The Commodores sing a medley including "We're Off to See the Wizard."
