Goofs
The letter that Sir Henry received showed the words pasted from individual letters, with "moor" written out by hand. The letter should have had whole words pasted in, with the reason "moor" was written was that it was not found in the article from which the words were taken. The Props Department created the letter inconsistent with the plot.
