Storyline

Carly's web show runs a car-giveaway contest, but problems arise when the dealership that was supposed to provide the vehicle suddenly decides not to forfeit the goods. Her usual effort to seek legal advice from Spencer proves to be unreliable, when he spends more of an effort seeking a prop from an old movie. To make matters worse, Nevel Papperman has returned for a third round of revenge against the show. Written by Daniel Timothy Dey

Trivia

Spencer buys a prop space vehicle from the movie "Galaxy Wars." Galaxy Wars was previously talked of in the show "Drake and Josh", and is most likely based off of Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977). The space vehicle Spencer buys online is called "The Proton Cruiser", and it's design greatly resembles the design of two popular vehicles from Star Wars along with Star Trek (1966), the original series. The engines, gray color, and orange pinstripes greatly resembles the USS Enterprise from Star Trek. The overall design of the ship along with the cockpit, resembles the Snow Speeder and X Wing from Star Wars. In this episode, Spencer also pulls out a communicator (before entering the Proton Cruiser) that looks and sounds exactly like the communicator used in the original Star Trek series. Also Galaxy Wars was mentioned as a "historical documentary" in "Futurama: Raging Bender (#2.12)." See more »

Goofs

The name of the Proton Cruiser from Galaxy Wars is "Rogue IV", but it's misspelled on the cruiser itself. Whoever was in charge of stenciling the name of the ship on the cruiser spelled it "Rouge IV" on both sides of the ship. See more »

Carly Shay: [Nevel, Spencer and LCC Inspector Bullock are waiting outside the LCC building when Carly, Sam and Freddie arrive in the modified Space vehicle prop] Here you go Nevel.
Sam Puckett: Congratulations winner.
Nevel Papperman: [Scoffs] What, and you think that rolling space turd will get iCarly off the hook?
Carly Shay: Yeah.
Sam Puckett: We think it will. Carly, would you say that this vehicle is "unique"?
Carly Shay: Oh it is clearly unique. Freddie has it ever been state registered?
Freddie Benson: Why no Carly, it hasn't.
Carly Shay: Mr Bullock?
LCC Inspector Bullock: If it can travel at a speed of at least 25 ...
