Blue Devils: Marine Aviation Squadron VMF-451

I was very impressed at the telling of the story, the footage and especially with the interviews of the veterans. Its great to see the Marines aviation in the Pacific theater recognized in this documentary film. Learning of the trials and hardships overcome by VMF-451 during WWII makes me appreciate all the more the freedoms I enjoy because of their sacrifice. I have been interested in WWII history but have never heard of a story such as this. It is always powerful when a filmmaker can unite the men who were apart of these moments in history to tell the story in their own words. I also love the use of their briefing room as a digital backdrop for the interviews. It puts the audience into the same environment that they were in when they undertook these missions.
