"Ark" has all the elements I look for in my favorite sort of sci-fi video: an intriguing setup, a mystery and interesting characters coupled with great sets, nice effects, fine, well-paced direction and good acting (nice to see Renée O'Connor kicking butt again, by the way).
But what about the rest of it? What I've seen is barely a start! This project really needs to pack on some bulk. It could be made into a wholly enjoyable made-for-TV movie (I'd settle for direct-to-video), summer series or (at the very LEAST) a fun web-series.
Please don't leave us hanging by a thread! It wouldn't take a lot to take the fragmentary part that we've seen and turn it into a very enjoyable whole. 8 out of 10 for what I've seen so far...
