This episode altered my brain chemistry and for this, I'll be grateful forever. I haven't really paid attention to Bluey playing in the background (especially when it's dubbed in Swedish), but one day my daughter was sick and we watched this episode in English, and the whole episode had me GLUED to the tv! The ending made me sob, and still does, no matter how many times I watch it.
Getting a divorce on top of always mom-shaming oneself, trying to navigate in this harsh and judging world is bad enough, but seeing all characters involved (Coco's supporting words to all pups, Bandit's hilarious "beep beep" sounds, how they handeled Bandit's mother, the "you're doing great") really made me think about how I can parent on a level where I not only DON'T have to compare myself to others all the time, it made me realize that I can create my own life with my daughter and live life through play and love. This show has inspired me to communicate and parent in a different way from what I've originally been taught, that we don't have to do things like we've always been doing, and I could've NEVER imagined that a kids show would make me a better, and more present, parent.
I hope the creators of this show know how much of an impact they have on peoples' lives.
