Storyline

July 29th, 1956. 19 firefighters from the Texas Panhandle towns of Sunray and Dumas perish in a massive explosion at the McKee Refinery located between Dumas and Sunray. The film makers revisit the families and town folk still suffering the trauma of that day. The incident ranks today as the 6th worst fatal firefighter incident in the country, 9/11 being 1st.
