(at around 1h 35 mins) The Cyberdyne Systems headquarters is actually the Oracle Corporation campus in Redwood Shores California, with some CGI embellishment. You can see the "500" in the lobby window when they enter (500 Oracle Parkway) . This movie's producers David Ellison and Megan Ellison are children of Oracle founder Larry Ellison. However, they are not related to Harlan Ellison whose name is credited in The Terminator (1984). See more »
The bus scene on the Golden Gate is wrong on so many levels. First, the bus is a rear engine model known as a "pusher". It is evident by the lack of grill in the front for a radiator. As the name sounds, the engine is in the very back of the bus. The differential points rearward, rather than forward. As a result, the drive shaft isn't present in the section of the bus forward of the rear axle. However, they show John Connor grabbing the phantom drive shaft just behind the front axle. Secondly, if this was a front engine model and John actually managed to break the drive shaft it would not catapult the bus. MythBusters debunked this myth several years ago with a car. Third, when the bus does flip it lands on the back end. In this shot you can clearly see the drive train of a rear engine model. The cg guys forgot that they needed to use a front engine model so that they would have a drive shaft to use for the bus flip. See more »
Before they died, my parents told me stories about how the world once was; what it was like long before I was born; before the war with the machines. They remembered a green world, vast and beautiful, filled with laughter and hope for the future. It's a world I never knew. By the time I was born, all this was gone.

Not quite as bad as i thought it would be, Terminator: Genisys brings back the nostalgia of the first two films. It even has the same old-school vibe to it. But when you get to its core, Genisys is simply a rehash of the first two masterpieces, which are so good there was no point in revisiting them.
