Storyline

Darlington Industries is a successful family business, the Darlingtons an old money family in Connecticut. After two and half years in the position, Jessica Lew is moving in the new year from being the efficient and trusted Executive Assistant to company CEO Charles Darlington to working in the company's legal division in she just having received her law degree and passed the bar exam. As Charles is scheduled to head off to Europe for a business trip, he asks Jess to do one last task before her much deserved Christmas break: to pick up Charles' orphaned nieces and nephew - Emma, J. Henry and Abby - from the airport, they who are coming "home" after being away for almost four years in Australia where they moved with their parents, their father, Jarrett Darlington, Charles' engineer brother. Had been looking forward to this movie & was disappointed. Felt acting was unusually bad. Especially cringey toward end of movie. Wanted to like it!
