Fun movie, enjoy it with kids
19 December 2013 | by msw50See all my reviews

I watched this with my niece and nephew (7 and 10 years old) who thought it was a blast.

Lots of goofy action stuff, well paced, fun time. The movie is a spoof on the Lord of the Rings as well as other popular films of this genre.

It worked as a film for grown-ups as well with topical humor and satire.

There was a strong female lead character, as well as great male characters. The movie was well animated, a fun mix of action, satire, and storytelling. Not scary but keeps your attention with the story and music (like the Bean-can-can song, a favorite with the kids.
