A terrifying supernatural thriller in which a group of college friends on a road trip find themselves fighting off dark forces at a remote farmhouse after a chance encounter with a strange little girl.
Elizabeth Di Prinzio,
"What is your worst fear?" It's a harmless question to ask when you are in the frozen woods, taking part in a sociology experiment with Professor John Sola. (Eric Roberts.) But it's not so harmless when a madman turns those fears into reality. Your friends are murdered in gruesome ways one by one and the only way you know somebody is not the killer is after they turn up dead. Trust fades, tensions mount, and the body count rises until the final desperate confrontation of good and evil. Be prepared for anything when the twisted motives behind this murder spree are revealed.Written by
I truly appreciated the details of this movie from beginning to end. It's incredible how engaged I found myself throughout every scene. I had low expectations before watching this, simply because I had never heard of it before. For me, the whole trapped in the woods with killers thing will never get tired, as long as there are films like this with original writing and genius plot twists. Of course, it doesn't hurt that it stars Eric Roberts, a truly brilliant and often haunting actor. The rest of the cast was surprisingly great. Their performances were emotional and carried exceptional depth, especially for a movie in this genre. The music, editing and tempo were all spot on as well. The only reason I give an 8/10 is to motivate the producers to get working on a sequel!
