Sex & Nudity

  • There is a painting on the background and also presented in the episodes of a naked bare chested woman
  • A man and a woman have sex, the scene is brief and no nudity is shown.
  • A woman makes a joke about being "fingered" by her classmate when she was 14.
  • No nudity in any episodes.

Violence & Gore

  • A woman scratches her face off. Extremely bloody and unexpected.
  • A man unexpectedly falls out of a window. We see him land on the sandwalk and blood pours out of the back of his head,
  • A couple people are repeatedly shown having their throats slit. A little blood is shown coming out of the wound, but otherwise not too gory,
  • Blood is applied to a statue multiple times, and fills in designs carved into the statue. Sometimes the blood comes from jars, another time it is from a palm that was cut. (A knife is shown cutting the palm.)

Profanity

  • f-words spoken multiple times throughout each episode by most of the lead characters; series is rife with f-bombs.
  • The 'F' word, in all its forms, is used excessively throughout the series to the point that it really makes the dialogues sound over-acted.
  • The use of f**** is used throughout the series.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some references to drug addiction but no actual usage is shown.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Many intense scenes involving jump scares. The main song/chant that occurs throughout season 1 might be unsettling.
  • The séance sequence can be particularly disturbing.

Violence & Gore

  • A woman is fatally shot in the chest. The camera cuts before the impact, some blood shown as she's dying.
  • A young woman's throat is slit. Very brief but the scene is shown multiple times throughout the show.
  • A woman's throat is slit as part of a sacrifice.
  • A man falls from a building and crashes onto the pavement, his dislocated body is shown as he lays dying.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Referred to as Stardust, there is a "mold" that characters in the show are physically and mentally affected by. It is seen is several pivotal points of the series, usually on walls or on the floor. Supposedly, this "mold" is the "body and blood" of the demon Kaelego.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The demon Kaelego can be disturbing, whether it's image flashes briefly in a screen or in its physical manifestation towards the end of the series.
