The Power and the Glory

There is a good opening sequence as the Mepsteads get up early in the morning to get ready for work.

Only it is Sunday and Shorty has woken everyone up for no reason.

At least Shorty and Randy get a phone call for some urgent work to do at the local church. It just so happens Kathleen is there and Shorty plans to propose to her.

I felt sorry for Mrs Mepstead knowing Shorty fancies Kathleen and Randy has been frisky with her. Most mothers would probably not want someone like her as their daughter in law.

It has a shock ending when Shorty proposes.
