‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 27: Here are the Trio Week dances, which will feature some old and new faces
It takes three to tango on “Dancing with the Stars” — and to cha-cha, paso doble, salsa, Argentine tango and Charleston. Week 4 is Trio Week, but with a twist this time. While pros and troupe members have joined couples in the past, the show is bringing in former contestants, “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” contestant Maddie Ziegler (as previously announced), and two people who have absolutely nothing to do with the show whatsoever.

Scarlett Byrne, who played Pansy Parkinson in the “Harry Potter” films, will team with her former co-star Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe for their salsa, while “Bachelor in Paradise” star Jordan Kimball will hit the hardwood with Grocery Store Joe and Jenna Johnson for their salsa. Stay thirsty, ABC.

Former champs Melissa Rycroft and Rashad Jennings, and alums Nastia Liukin, Linsdsey Stirling, Riker Lynch, Joey Fatone and Amy Purdy are the past contestants who’ll take another step on the dance floor.

‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 hoping for Golden Globes retaliation after shocking Emmy losses

‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 hoping for Golden Globes retaliation after shocking Emmy losses
While the Golden Globes are known for heavily rewarding a show in its first season only to drop it like a hot potato for Season 2, “The Handmaid’s Tale” had to incur this type of sudden drop-off at the 2018 Emmy Awards. Last year, “The Handmaid’s Tale” had the splashiest debut at the Emmys for any new show in a while, winning eight Emmys including Best Drama Series, Actress for Elisabeth Moss, Supporting Actress for Ann Dowd, Directing and Writing. The Hulu drama went into Season 2 as a favorite to win many of these categories again, only to be shut out on the main telecast. Now the series can only hope for the upcoming Golden Globes to finally get some love for Season 2.

Darren Criss (‘Assassination of Gianni Versace’) could easily sweep Golden Globes and SAG after killer Emmy win

Darren Criss (‘Assassination of Gianni Versace’) could easily sweep Golden Globes and SAG after killer Emmy win
Darren Criss earned some of the best reviews of his career for playing unstable serial killer Andrew Cunanan in “The Assassination of Gianni Versace,” which just culminated in his second Emmy nomination and first win. In the process, the 31-year-old became the second youngest winner of Best Limited Series/Movie Actor in Emmy history, and for a thoroughly villainous character at that. Criss is now heading into the end of 2018 as a presumptive favorite to win at other major award shows.

See The Golden Globe Awards will stay on NBC under new 8-year deal

Criss has a strong possibility of striking big at the Golden Globes in addition to the Screen Actors Guild Awards, adding more trophies to his mantel that also includes a Teen Choice Award for his work on “Glee.” A number of actors in recent years have followed up Emmy victories with a corresponding Golden Globe and SAG Award,

What Fox Execs Peter Rice, Dana Walden, and John Landgraf Can Expect As They Move to Disney

When the Walt Disney Company unveiled much of its new TV networks organizational structure Monday, it didn’t come with many surprises: As expected, Peter Rice will assume oversight as chairman of Walt Disney Television and co-chair of Disney Media Networks once the company closes its acquisition of 21st Century Fox.

Under Rice, as previously reported, Dana Walden has been named chairman of Disney TV Studios and ABC Entertainment, while John Landgraf will continue to oversee FX Networks and FX Productions as chairman. National Geographic Partners chairman Gary Knell, Disney Channels Worldwide president/COO Gary Marsh and ABC News president James Goldston will also answer to Rice.

With long-time 21st Century Fox execs taking over key Disney TV oversight, Burbank’s about to feel a lot more like Century City. And that’s clearly Disney CEO Bob Iger’s goal: “The strength of 21st Century Fox’s first-class management talent

‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ is trying to be the first comedy Golden Globe champ in eight years to go back-to-back

‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ is trying to be the first comedy Golden Globe champ in eight years to go back-to-back
“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” kicked off its marvelous awards run at the Golden Globes in January, where it took home Best Comedy Series and acting honors for Rachel Brosnahan. The Emmy champ is the early favorite to defend its series crown at the Globes next year, which would mark the first time in eight years a winner has gone back-to-back.

Since the Hollywood Foreign Press Association loves all things shiny and new, it’s rare for a show to win multiple series awards. Only nine shows have won Best Comedy Series more than once, while 16 shows have done so at the Emmys. Five shows have won Best Comedy Series Globes twice and they all did it in consecutive years: “Barney Miller” (1975-76), “Fame” (1982-83), “Ally McBeal” (1997-98), “Desperate Housewives” (2004-05) and “Glee” (2009-10). All five also won their twin Globes for their first two seasons before voters moved on, never to return.

FX’s ‘Pose’ is ready to serve Golden Globes realness

FX’s ‘Pose’ is ready to serve Golden Globes realness
The category is … Best Drama Series? FX drama “Pose” is one of many new shows looking to hit the ground running at the Golden Globes in a few months, and is already a favorite to earn nominations. Recognition for “Pose” at the Globes would further shine a spotlight on a subculture not often seen in mainstream media, on top of rewarding one of the best shows of the year.

SEEEmmys go gaga for multiple trophy winners Ryan Murphy, Amy Sherman-Palladino, Alex Borstein, RuPaul and …

The Ryan Murphy-produced series includes the largest transgender cast in TV history and centers on multiple trans and cisgender characters participating in ball culture in the late 1980s. This culture is juxtaposed with the conservative Reagan era in which they are living, as represented by Murphy mainstay Evan Peters, whose character just so happens to work at Trump Tower. Despite its ’80s setting, “Pose” tackles themes that remain relevant even today,

25 Storylines Glee Wants Everyone To Forget

Ask any former Gleek and they will tell you, Glee did not have the best record when it came to consistent multi-season story arcs. Given Ryan Murphy’s propensity for anthology series as of late, we’re not overly surprised. Sometimes, it seemed like the show was just getting by until the inevitable ending moments. It can be kind of vexing as the series did have a set structure to it, given the competitions and social obligations that come with being a glee club in high school.

Even so, we did enjoy every candy-colored yet highly frustrating moment. It’s honestly no surprise that Glee writers’ room alum Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa went on to create Riverdale. They both have the same sort of "it makes sense in the moment but can be confusing when you look back at it" storytelling vibe.

Alhough the show definitely did spawn a lot of good things,
