The Boathouse (2021)
When Anne (Michaela Kurimsky) is hired by her missing music professor's husband (Alan Van Sprang) as a live-in nanny, she becomes entangled in the family's secrets and begins to mentally unravel. Ostensibly stranded at a remote lakeside cottage, she's driven to consider the circumstances behind her mentor's disappearance. Employing a nonlinear narrative, Hannah Cheesman's old-school psychological thriller keeps Anne teetering on the brink of an implosion as she hurtles towards a reckoning with the past.

    Hollow and empty
This is not a horror movie! Its not a thriller, its not scary, and its not creepy... It is barely a drama!

Its a dragging story with hollow acting. No dephts.

It is well produced, but the way the story is told it feels flat and hollow... The main character is not a good actress.
