Early in the game while you attempt to recover an implanted chip from the brain of a puritan in the police department, the player comes across terminals with emails referencing the film Blade Runner
(1982). The terminal log in is for a user named Deckard just like the protagonist of 'Blade Runner', while the exchange of emails comes from another user named Roy to discuss borrowing Deckard's "Priss Coupe" in contrast to Roy's "pleasure model". Roy Batty is of course the antagonist of 'Blade Runner', and Pris Stratton is another replicant who is classed as a "pleasure model" by the police captain in the film when debriefing Deckard. The positions of the Renaissance Center and One Detroit Center in skyline would place the Detroit hub across Woodward Avenue some distance north of the aforementioned buildings, but the avenue is nowhere to be found nor a remnant of it. In addition, the streets throughout the hub, are named after actual streets that are not all adjacent at a block in real life. The game's Milwaukee Junction appears somewhere west of downtown when it should be directly north. See more
