    Great!

This short film is an excellent portrayal of the struggle one can face on the brink of depression. An excellent cast, wonderful director, and an inspirational script and story line make this motion picture a "must see" for all short film lovers.

For such a low budget, this film makes up for the financial distress with pure heart. The inspirational aspects of the film will leave one aspired far after the ending credits. The film contains minor drug references and the subject of the film may not be easily understood by younger children. The music and the score are also genuine and true, especially the music in the credits. This film throws caution to the wind and sets itself apart from the rest of Hollywood productions and brings back the primitive reasoning for making a movie; portraying a heartfelt story.

Providence Road was a unique journey. The ending opened up discussions for a youth group about a surprising number of subjects.

After viewing this movie with a group of young people, the questions at the end were quite surprising. The interpretations seem to come from personal experiences and each person had a different view of what the film was saying. Therein, lies the uniqueness of Providence Road. Addressing issues such as depression, addiction, mental illness, suicide and even safe driving were some of the subjects teenagers talked about. Peeking briefly into one morning in the life of someone who has given up all hope, you feel as if you know how he got there, unusual for a short film. There is a spirituality without a sermon about his film that seem to catch the attention of young and old.Providence Road once again proved you don't need a lot of words to tell a story!
