This show does exactly what you expect of it: it shows a picture of Victoria Silvstedt's glamorous lifestyle as she travels around the world. If you don't really like Victoria, obviously you won't really like this, but if you are a big fan of her like me, this show is perfect.
Victoria Silvstedt: a woman who has posed in front of millions of cameras and always wants to look perfect in every picture. On first sight, not a very complicated person: a woman who spends her life looking beautiful in front of cameras. However, anyone who really knows Victoria knows there is so much more to this woman than just her amazing looks.
Victoria Silvstedt: My Perfect Life has everything that you expect from something Victoria is involved in: glamour, opulence, beauty, travelling to the most beautiful places in the world. These are all very important in Victoria's perfect life, but what I loved about this show is that it shows much more about the woman behind all this beauty and glamour. It also really shows her personality and her struggles between living a jet set lifestyle and staying in touch with old friends and family. Usually, Victoria is seen, and sees herself, as a larger than life glamour model. This show also showed off a different side of Victoria though, a much more introspective side. We really see her as a down to earth, intelligent woman rather than the blonde bombshell who never looks bad in front of a camera. As a fan of Victoria Silvstedt, it's great to see this different side of her.
So don't be fooled by the title, this show is not only about Victoria's perfect life, it is also about slightly less than perfect life which the cameras usually never capture. The show does a brilliant job of showing who Victoria really is: a positive thinking, funny and down to earth woman.
