Quotes

Blue Beetle: The meteor! It's like no time's passed since we left.
Batman: Due to the quantum anomalies of wormholes, none has.
Batman: [Thinking to himself] Of course, that's just a fancy way of saying, "That's weird." But half of the things I encounter on this job make no sense. Take this mission. I wanted to see if this kid had hero potential. Instead, I got to see him become one.

A blast from the past
28 September 2017 | by Mr-FusionSee all my reviews

What makes this show such a treat is that it goes against the grain. This Batman doesn't brood and seems just as likely to get kids to drink their milk as he would beating the snot out of criminals. Diedrich Bader nails the tough-guy voice while leaving this caped crusader open to a joke.

Campy isn't the right word, but it does harken back to a time when Batman was given to science fantasy. And true to form, this pilot opens with an elaborate death trap. I didn't give the show much attention when it was on, but I'm enjoying it now. The direction's lively, the one-liners are funny and Bader's earned a spot among the great Batman voices.
