The sword that John Wilkes Booth uses is actually three weapons in one: A sword, a gun and a taser. The taser is used only once in the film on the security guard named Woodpigeon. Three different versions of the sword were made for the production: Two full metal versions, a plastic blade version and a metal half-blade version that was cut for close up stabbing shots. Detailing of the swords were mostly glued and would sometimes break during filming. The damaged sword would then be switched out with another sword while the broken one got repaired so filming could resume.
