The celebs partied hard in Miami for this year's Art Basel!

It's always during the Floridian city's annual Art Week, and this year was no exception.

Cardi B rocked a long-sleeved nude mini with a sheer overlay, towering Christian Louboutin heels and long bright red locks when she arrived at Liv at Fontainebleau at 2:45 a.m. on Dec. 9 with an entourage of over 50 people. She drank a glass of champagne before making her way over to the DJ Booth at 3:05 a.m., then kicked off her Art Basel performance with her hit, “Bodak Yellow.”

Before there were e-sports — heck, before the original Nintendo even came to America — there was Starcade.

The 1982-84 game show, which pitted video-game nerds against each other in vintage arcade games like Pac-Man, Centipede and Donkey Kong, is back this week, with gaming site Twitch streaming a six-day Starcade marathon that runs through this Sunday. And it’s only gotten better with age — an irresistible combo of old-school gaming and Reagan-era kitsch.

The Resonate gaming festival launched in Glasgow last year and was held at the SEC (fomerly Secc),, bringing an extremely gaming focused celebration to Glasgow and was well received by those who attended. This year the festival stepped up its size and capacity by teaming up with the well known Insomnia team to bring an even larger gaming event to Scotland.

The event took place between July 21st and 23rd, once again hosted at Glasgow’s SEC arena, though the event has moved into a larger hall allowing the show floor a lot more square footage.

A complaint about last year was that the ratio of merchandise to games was about 2/3’s of the show floor. This year the ratio may have been closer to 60/40 though that in no way means that the gaming was neglected. The show floor had plenty for

Lineup Announcements

– Exclusive: The 12th Annual Sunscreen Film Festival announced its official selections for the 2017 event featuring films with Alec Baldwin, Dylan McDermott, John Cleese, Daphne Zuniga and more. Opening night will feature Michael Mailer’s newest film, “Blind,” a romantic-drama, starring Alec Baldwin, Demi Moore and Dylan McDermott. Closing night will wrap up the festival with “Albion: The Enchanted Stallion,” a family fantasy adventure, starring John Cleese, Debra Messing, Jennifer Morrison and Stephen Dorff.

Retrospective Screenings will include Daphne Zuniga appearance at the festival honoring the 30th anniversary of “Spaceballs.” Also in this category will be “The Greatest Show on Earth,” from 1952 directed by Cecile B. DeMille, which won the Oscar for Best Pictures and Best Writing in 1953. The screening will honor the closing of the Ringling Bros.
