Thundercats Roar coming to Cartoon Network

  • Cinelinx
I know many people who would rejoice at the fact that The Thundercats would be returning to TV again. To see Lion-o, wielding the Sword of Omens once more, vanquishing Mum-Ra and his minions would be fantastic. I know I’d be looking forward to it and when Cartoon Network told us just that I was intrigued. Right up until I saw what was in store for us with the upcoming Thundercats Roar!

So what do you think of that key art? The minute I saw the artwork for this I wanted to punch someone. Every time I look at it something inside me dies a little more. The man responsible for this is Victor Courtright and lets see what he has to say about his new show in the video below:

Critics Pick Their Favorite TV Monarchs Who Totally Rule – IndieWire Survey

Every week, IndieWire asks a select handful of TV critics two questions and publishes the results on Tuesday.

This week’s question: What is your favorite depiction of a monarch/royal character on TV?

*Yes, the monarch can be fictional and not based in our world. They can appear anywhere: historically adjacent dramas, cartoons, time-travel shows, fantasy series, comedies, sci-fi series, etc. They just need to rule!

Allison Keene (@KeeneTV), Collider

This question has provoked a lot of anxiety, because where do I even start? First with the classic choices: Claire Foy is exceptional in “The Crown,” of course, but Jodie Comer was really dazzling in “The White Princess.” George Blagden and Alexander Vlahos make “Versailles’” French court a delight, and Tom Hiddleston was swoon-worthy perfection as the young playboy Hal who becomes the venerable Henry V in “The Hollow Crown.” And then fictional as well? We have to consider

Studios. “Back in 2012, when we launched our first Adventure Time series, we wanted to create stories for kids that didn’t pander to its readers and could be enjoyed by all. After more than a hundred comics, multiple series and graphic novels, and numerous awards, Adventure Time – and so many comics since then – have shown that not only do kids remain the most important new readers,

Teen Titans Go! To the Movies hits theaters on July 27.

When the Teen Titans go to the big screen, they go big! “Teen Titans Go! to the Movies” finds our egocentric, wildly satirical Super Heroes in their first feature film extravaganza—a fresh, gleefully clever, kid-appropriately crass and tongue-in-cheek play on the super hero genre, complete with musical numbers.

It seems to the Teens that all the major super heroes out there are starring in their own movies—everyone but the Teen Titans, that is!
