Despite this being the final episode of her five season sitcom, this was not the end of Doris Day's contract with CBS. In addition to her eponymous series, the 1968 deal between Day's production company and the network called for her to headline two one hour musical specials. The first of them, The Doris Mary Anne von Kepple Hoff Special with guest stars Perry Como and Rock Hudson, had aired in 1971. The second and final special, Doris Day Today, featured John Denver and Tin Conway as guests, and was not seen until 1975. See more
