Trivia

It wasn't until the fifth season that Allan Hawco, the show's star and among its producers, helped foster a deal with Trifecta Entertainment of Los Angeles to put the show into United States syndication. According to Hawco, owners preferred to keep the show exclusive to Canadian audiences for the first several years to help keep the show "real and truthful to the place"; it's set in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. Syndication will keep the show, which ended after season 6, playing in U.S. households for years. See more »

Not good
9 February 2015 | by See all my reviews

I really wanted to like this series so I tried watching it again and again and again and again. And again, but it just is not good enough.

I do not like the actor who plays the lead, his face has no expressions. The acting is not good in general.

The stories are messy. This may be caused by the very bad editing, incomplete shots and very bad stunts.

Furthermore this series is supposed to be funny, well I never laughed.

Not in series 1. Not in 2 nor in 3.

What's good about this is is the scenery,.

I will not watch this again. Ever.
