In the opening monologue, Skelton jokes about TV programs. Seagulls Gertrude and Heathcliffe drop by for a gag. Red concludes the monologue with a pantomime of an old man who chases everyone out of the house so that he can watch his favorite TV program in peace, then promptly nods off as soon as the show begins.
