Trivia

The fighting style Xiang (Donnie Yen) uses against the N.S.A. soldiers at the end is Wing Chun. Several moves Yen uses include a Lap Sau (block/deflect), Fak Sau (knifehand), Tan Sau (sky palm block), the Wing Chun front kick, and the signature Lin Wan Kuen (a.k.a. chain punch). Donnie Yen portrayed the legendary Wing Chun Grand Master, Ip Man (who was also Bruce Lee's teacher), in Ip Man (2008), Ip Man 2 (2010), Ip Man 3 (2015), and Ip Man 4 (2018). See more »

Goofs

In the final few minutes when the cargo plan is in a nosedive, everyone in the plane is suspended in midair as if there's zero gravity when in fact they're heading towards the ground. The plane nosediving towards the ground would cause weightlessness for a brief period (this is exactly what the Vomit Comet does over the Gulf of Mexico), but what is shown in film is too long for that period of weightlessness. Complete waste of time - too much glorification of Xander Cage
6 May 2017 | by layda7See all my reviews

There is no story build up in this movie - and the action scenes are unbelievable ~ aka too many bulls#it and impossible unrealistic sequence. The "glorification of Xander Cage" is way too arrogant to a point that your passion and interest for the character simply fades away.

After the movie, I have less respect for the character that Vin Diesel plays. If you are the type that likes to watch the action sequences; you might enjoy this.
