Eli convinces Jim Cooper, a billionaire philanthropist, to give them the lead of a clinical trial testing the efficacy of medicinal marijuana as a cure for MS in children, namely Cooper's son. But Eli learns Cooper's son doesn't want to be a part of the trial, placing Eli in a moral dilemma. Meanwhile, Keith represents Patti's daughter after she's arrested for DUI, and Matt and Maggie work to expose a mole within Jordan and Eli's new firm who is helping Posner/Klein lure clients away.

The A.D.A says Angela's blood alcohol level (BAL) was .085%, and you needed serious tolerance to drive at that level. Actually, the legal limit is .08% making .085% just barely illegal. Until about 2004, most states set the limit at .10%. It was reduced to .08% due to the federal government forcing states into acceptance under threat of withholding federally-collected tax dollars that are redistributed to the states (a common practice to make an end-run around the 10th Amendment). Most states have increased penalties for very high blood alcohol levels, above .15%, which was the original BAL limit first established in 1938.
