The time lines don't work out. If it all happened at RAF Gütersloh in 1985 and Mr Gilbert's father had been in the Pathfinders in WW2, he would have been over 60 years old, too old to serve in the RAF and the only reason Mr Gilbert would have been living at RAF Gütersloh. See more »

Jason Watkins was very good, and single handedly carried this drama in his own shoulders. It surprised me that this was brought back, two poor previous stories, with another here. It simply wasn't up to scratch, a mix of good actors and actresses, sadly none of them were able to elevate the wooly script. Won't be switching on again.
