Goofs

When Roma and the other Interpol officers enter DCB, Sameer informs Vardhaan about it. But, he doesn't inform Don about it. After some time, it is shown that Don already knew about it and calls Vishal Malik (Om Puri).

Just because we do not see it, that doesn't mean it didn't happen. It would have been redundant to do a scene with Sameer telling Don. See more »

The Return of the King!!
24 January 2012 | by alamin89See all my reviews

Don 2 was one of the most anticipated movie of 2011.Don 2 is sequel to Don (2006) and bigger than the first one. After conquering Asian underworld Don steps on European underworld. The whole story is bit longer but interesting and well written. Talking about Direction has done a remarkable job for the movie. The whole movie is just stylish and you will feel as if you are watching a Hollywood movie. But the whole movie is of a little slow pace except the last 30 minute & also some scenes could have been made more interesting and comic. Dialogues are written by Farhan Akhtar & they are superbly written. There are some good punch lines and some dialogues will be remembered for long time. Action scenes are just awesome. I have seen one of the best action scenes of bollywood in this film. You will be also thrilled by the car chase. Cinematography has been excellent. Music is little weak, at least weaker than Don (2006) but they are well picturised. Lyrics are good & meaningful but couldn't lift up the songs much. Talking about acting, Boman Irani as Vardhan, Priyanka as Roma & SRK as Don, three main characters shines to their character. Specially Shahrukh's performance was outstanding. That evil laugh he gave in the film will be remembered for long time. Don's charm will make you forget all the problems with the film. Those who are not fan of Shahrukh will also like his performance. You will also like Don's flirting with Roma (Priyanka). Kunal Kapoor was a surprise character in the film. The other characters, Lara Dutta,Nawab Shah,Aly Khan did a decent job for the film. Over all Don 2 is one of the best action thriller films of bollywood. It hasn't got opening like Ready, Bodyguard or Ra. One but movie quality is better than three of them. Some people say that this movie is copied from MI4, Oceans Eleven, Prison Break...etc.But i can assure you that "These are all crap". Either they have not seen MI4,Prison Breake etc or they have not seen Don 2 or even both of them. The storyline of the movie is original & fresh. In the end what can i say, The King is Back.
