"You'd make a really bad caveman. Can't get us something to eat, can't start a fire."

Warning: Spoilers
Until a largely perfunctory scene near the end with Alf, Irene and Ruby (wouldn't Annie have made more sense?), the episode only features four regulars and one guest star. And a few extras. This makes it pretty tightly focused, as one aspect of the mid-season cliffhanger gets accelerated.(Although others have been badly neglected. How are Jack and Martha after the last episode? What's happened to Rachel? What's happened to Aden?) Roman and Elliot's mind games with each other improve greatly on the macho nonsense of the previous episode.Seeing Roman finally get some payback on his nemesis is a satisfying moment, as is the moment in the police interview room when he finally gets him to crack.Elliot's transformation from vengeful psychopath to repentant doubter is a bit abrupt but perhaps he finally recognises that Roman's telling him the truth.

The stuff with Geoff and Nicole on the island is actually sweet:the pair have a great chemistry and you almost forget about the peril they're in at times as they discuss things and finally realise how much they mean to each other.Although if they're meant to be shagging at the end, that's even more abrupt.
