A romantic comedy that centers around a young mother named Flick. After a lifetime of problems and disappointments with men, she decides she wants to spend her life with a woman. As sweet and funny as she is, Flick is flawed and confused but has come up with an unconventional way to find her new mate; A weekend sleepover. She finds the 5 women that she's recently met and has been attracted to in one way or another and invites them to spend a weekend at an out of the way summer house by the beach. A weekend to get to know her and her daughter Roxy, who at only 10 years old, has a maturity far beyond her years. The only problem is, she has invited all 5 women to stay with her at the same time in the same house and none of them know that. Flick's Chicks takes you on a humorous and voyeuristic look at 6 women as they get to know each other, annoy each other and learn to accept each other and in the end, hopefully find love. Did You Know?

Chi Chi: Looking back at all my relationships, there were some that were more real. The ones that lasted a short time, like three weeks, they were more real, honest and spiritual than the ones that lasted three years. And that blows my mind that duration doesn't equal validity. My teacher used to say, 'If you don't make the connection, consider it protection.'

worst movie ever
8 January 2011 | by annechienheidaSee all my reviews

I'm sorry, but this just might be the worst movie I've ever seen. the acting is horrible, the characters are horrible (but that could be just a result of the acting) and the story is potentially funny, but not executed properly. I mean, this is supposed to be a 'romantic comedy', and it actually starts out funny. But then, when the first 'oh no I hate men' scene takes about 10 minutes, you see the problem of this movie; everything just takes too long. The movie is slow and dreary. When there is a funny, weird situation, usually the director cuts out and goes on with something thing else, but here we can see how Flick (seriously?) smiles awkwardly and tries to deal with it. then the situation is solved, and it's all good.

In the movie, Flick is described as goofy, unconventional, extraordinary and spontaneous. What you see though, is an awkward middle aged woman, actually a very normal person, and definitely the most normal person on this movie. The Flick character is so dull, that the makers of the movie needed all the other characters to say she is wonderful, unconventional, special and one of a kind. This does not, however, come forth from the character itself. All of the characters are very shallow. I couldn't sympathize with any of them. again, this may be just because of the acting.

This movie is BAD, but not bad in a funny way. It's bad in a way that will have you braindead and just staring at a screen. Even with a couple of friends you can't make this movie funny. In short, the worst, most annoying movie I've ever seen.
