Storyline

When adult-film director Bud (Joel Spence) pens a great dramatic screenplay, he's determined to shoot it, one way or another -- especially when a mainstream star (Joey Kern), unaware of Bud's risqué résumé, signs on to the project. Using his unwitting employer's sets and equipment -- and a semi-cooperative cast of erotic actors -- Bud sets out to realize his artistic vision while appearing to turn out a standard porno. Trivia

The climactic scene of the film, which involves a special camera that the crew is forced to use, was originally an online comedy sketch by director Jonathan Smith. He then repurposed the sketch for this film since it worked perfectly for the story. See more »

Very Funny Movie
12 November 2010 | by mww23See all my reviews

Breast Picture is a very funny movie with an excellent cast. Matt Walsh and Joey Kern are both hilarious and Joel Spence was very well cast as the adult film director/Oscar hopeful. Really great cameo by Tim Meadows as well. The story is clever, well produced and quite entertaining, as we follow our protagonist Bud, struggling to get his masterpiece made while disguising it as an X rated film from the producers funding his project. I am a big Matt Walsh fan and yet again he does not disappoint. Though Breast Picture won't blow you away with a long list of big name Hollywood actors, this great little indie film boasts many of the great upcoming talents of the Los Angeles improv community. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for laughs. I highly recommend this film to all.
