Impressive Fan-Made CGI Marvel Video Pits Tom Hardy's Venom Against Tom Holland's Spider-Man

I’ve got an awesome fan-made CGI Marvel video for you to check out today. The video comes from Vs Gag, and it features a fight sequence between Tom Hardy’s Venom and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. One of the things that I love about it is that it’s set in the Venom movie and starts out with a scene that you’re all familiar with from the trailers. This actually ended up being pretty impressive! The CGI is really good and it’s just fun to see these character locked in battle!

We may never see these two versions of the characters on the big screen together, at least not anytime soon. But, I think fans are really going to enjoy this! Especially when Spider-Man lands a solid kick to Venom’s balls.

Gotham Actor Teases Bane’s Arrival In Season 5

Now that we know Gotham‘s fifth season will be its last, it sounds like the producers are going with the “kitchen sink” mentality as they continue crossing villains off their bucket list. Already, we’re aware that the likes of Scarface and Mother will pop up, but we’ve also been told to stay attentive if indeed the true Harley Quinn is to make an appearance.

Though the Batman prequel series hinted at the Venom drug in its earlier days, it looks as though Bane himself will arrive before the series takes its final bow. Don’t forget, episode 8 of season 5 will indeed be titled “I am Bane,” a nod to Tom King and David Finch’s recent masterwork on the comic book side of things.

Adding fuel to the fire was the recent casting of Shane West as Eduardo Dorrance, whom some believed to be the brute’s father,

Spider-Man: Far From Home set photo offers glimpse of new black suit

It looks like Tom Holland’s Peter Parker will getting another new look in next year’s Spider-Man: Far From Home, with a set photo arriving online, which show the web-slinger atop a Ferris wheel in what appears to be an all-black costume. Take a look here…

It’s said that this isn’t the symbiote suit (which isn’t surprising given that Sony is working on its own Venom movie), with speculation suggesting that it may well be the Stealth Suit from the comic books, which essentially makes Spidey invisible. That would certainly make sense, as Spider-Man touring Europe at the same time as Peter Parker and his classmates would certainly arouse suspicion!

Zoë Kravitz To Topline 'High Fidelity' Series Reboot For Disney OTT Service
After lengthy negotiations, Zoë Kravitz ("Big Little Lies") has been tapped to star and executive produce "High Fidelity," the reimagining of Nick Hornby’s 1995 novel and the 2000 feature starring John Cusack with a female point of view, which had been in development at Disney’s upcoming direct-to-consumer streaming service.

With Kravitz on board, the project has received a formal 10-episode order. The "High Fidelity" reboot hails from writers Veronica West & Sarah Kucserka, the Midnight Radio producing team and ABC Signature Studios (Smilf), and the cable/streaming division of ABC Studios. Midnight Radio is comprised of Scott Rosenberg — who co-wrote the High Fidelity feature — Jeff Pinkner, Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec.

Kravitz will play the ultimate music fan, a record store owner who’s obsessed with pop culture and Top Five lists, a female take on the character played in the movie by Cusack.

Could The X-Men: Dark Phoenix Trailer Arrive Next Month?

Of all the many unanswered questions currently surrounding the proposed Disney-Fox merger, fans continue to mull over the fate of X-Men: Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants – two projects that each have endured long, troubled spells in production.

But while Fox has delayed both blockbusters, they’re still set to see the warm light of day, which ought to please anyone who feared that Disney was about to pull the plug entirely. With the former quickly barreling down on its release date, though, the question remains: when will the studio give us some footage from Dark Phoenix to feast on?

The pic’s scheduled to open on February 14th, 2019, and with October just a week away now, it’s certainly a bit odd that we haven’t even got so much as a teaser yet. Still, hope remains, as we’ve heard that Fox has already shown a trailer overseas,

Riz Ahmed on Venom: "it's more like a werewolf movie than a superhero movie"

Rob Leane Sep 24, 2018

Riz Ahmed spills the beans on his villainous role in the Venom movie...

“It’s really interesting working with someone who’s got an alien up their arse,” Riz Ahmed recalls, chatting to Den Of Geek at a snazzy London hotel, ahead of the release of Sony’s Venom movie. Ahmed is softly spoken and polite and his use of a rude word, even at a press event dedicated to a film with slathering alien symbiotes and plentiful violence, comes as a bit of a shock.

‘House With a Clock in Its Walls’ Ticks Past Expectations With $26.8 Million Opening
Universal’s “The House With a Clock in its Walls” is beating analyst expectations after a strong Saturday at the box office, with estimates now at a $26.8 million opening from 3,592 screens.

This $40 million Amblin-produced family film had been projected for an opening in the low $20 million range, but business picked up well after a $7.5 million Friday. Critical reception has been fairly solid, with a B+ on CinemaScore to join a 68 percent Rotten Tomatoes score.

After inflation adjustment, this result matches the best opening for director Eli Roth, who up to this point has made gory horror films like “Cabin Fever” and the “Hostel” trilogy. His previous opening weekend best was scored by the first “Hostel” in 2006 with $19.5 million, which adjusts to $27.6 million in 2018 money.

First Venom Clip Sets Up the Big Battle Between Eddie Brock and Dr. Drake

Sony has released the first clip from Venom, which sets up the conflict between Dr. Carlton Drake and Eddie Brock. Brock is an investigative journalist looking to get to the bottom of the Life Foundation's questionable pharmaceutical testing practices, but when he directs those questions at Drake, he is expelled from the building. While the clip doesn't show off any symbiote action, it does preview what's to come later in the film. The short clip is exactly the kind of teaser that will make fans want to see more.

We're only a few short weeks away from Venom hitting movie theaters, and Marvel fans are starting to get really curious about what Ruben Fleischer and Tom Hardy have done with the anti-hero. It has been heavily rumored that nearly all of the footage that has been released in promotional material so far is from the first act of the film,

New Goosebumps 2 Trailer Has Deadly Gummy Bears Out for Delicious Revenge

New Goosebumps 2 Trailer Has Deadly Gummy Bears Out for Delicious Revenge
Goosebumps: Haunted Halloween is bringing Gummy Bears into the children's horror genre and they're ready to wreak some havoc this Halloween. The loveable candy bears have been shown in the promotional material before, but they are highlighted in the latest trailer for the upcoming sequel, as they viciously attack Jeremy Ray Taylor and Caleel Harris. As it turns out, these Gummy Bears don't appreciate it when someone eats half of their family in one handful, making them combine to create giant terrifyingly cute monsters that are ready to exact their revenge.

Along with the new trailer for Goosebumps 2, the box office estimations are in as well. The lack of Jack Black is looking like it will have a pretty dramatic effect on opening weekend, and no amount of man-eating Gummy Bears is going to change that. The film opens on October 12th, just one week after Venom and is currently

First ‘Venom’ Clip Features Riz Ahmed & Tom Hardy In A Verbal Sparring Match

Venom” is the upcoming SonySpider-Man” spin-off film featuring a 9-foot-tall black, gooey monster that bites the heads off of enemies, complete with ridiculous ‘80s action movie dialogue (I’ll never get tired of sharing the infamous “turd in the wind” clip). So, get ready for the exciting first clip from the superhero film which features the titular character…errr…interviewing another character about pharmaceutical dangers? Ugh.

First ‘Venom’ Clip Features a Testy Interview with Eddie Brock and Dr. Carlton Drake

Sony Pictures has released the first Venom clip. The upcoming superhero movie follows disgraced reporter Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) who comes into contact with an alien symbiote that turns him into the creature known as “Venom”. My expectations for this one remains low, and this clip doesn’t really do anything to change that. It’s not a bad clip as it shows the conflict between Brock and Dr. Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed), but I have yet to see anything from Venom that makes me excited for this movie. How does it move the superhero genre forward? Why is it …

Sparks Fly In The Tense First Clip For Sony’s Venom Movie

Sony’s standalone Venom movie is now so close we can almost hear the gnashing teeth of Eddie Brock’s Sinister Symbiote.

To prove it, IGN has premiered the intense first clip for Ruben Fleischer’s budding franchise-starter in which Tom Hardy’s Eddie quizzes Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed) about the allegations being leveled against the Life Foundation.

Essentially, they suppose that Drake and his goons scientists have been preying on the most vulnerable members of society, before pushing them to become hapless test subjects in their cruel and twisted experiments – experiments that just so happen to involve fusing human DNA with that of an alien symbiote. Unsurprisingly, things don’t go exactly as according to plan, and everything goes to hell in a handcart.

But IGN’s exclusive clip teases the calm before the storm, as the dressed-down Eddie Brock begins pressing Carlton Drake about what the Life Foundation is all about.

Venom Takes a Bite Out of Crime in Two New Promo Spots For Venom

We've got two new promo spots for Venom for you to watch today. The first one mostly teases Venom’s desire to eat people. Venom certainly has a reputation for eating people and this film will give us the PG-13 version of that. I’m not expecting much for this film, but maybe it will surprise me. The second promo features some new footage form the Riot and Venom fight in the film!

The movie was inspired by the 1993 six-issue Venom: Lethal Protector comic miniseries. The story followed Venom moving to San Francisco after he and Spider-Man made a truce. Once in San Francisco, Venom is hunted down by the Life Foundation, who wants to study the Venom symbiote so they can use it for their own evil purposes. From it, they create five new symbiote spawn including Scream, Phage, Riot, Lasher, and Agony.

The film stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams
