I never played the Fallout games or knew anything about them so I had no idea what to expect but I have to say that I've really enjoyed it so far. This show hooked me from the first episode and held my attention to the last. I binged the entire season in two days and was still hoping for more episodes when I was done. It seems like some of the people who actually played the games didn't like it as much but as long as try not to compare it to the game and just enjoy it for what it is...and that's an entertaining fantasy/sci-fi series. The series should be judged on its own and not compared to the game. The world building and cast are the best things about the show and I can't wait for more. I promise you'll have a blast watching this and will want to binge it as fast as you can.
Fallout has been managed with a good direction. The actor's performance are funny, best interpretation of the papers and well done. The whole history match with the original theme from the game of the company Bethesda. Each minute is being worked exactly, each dialogue, each movement, the used stuffs and objects included in the environment, taking care with the minimun details of scenes.
I've watched 8 chapters in one day, due that the first serie trapped my attention.
I hope to watch the next chapter.
What I like?: the mentioned above.
What I dislike?: I was waiting for the ogres, or some magical characters that appears in the game. However, the film reached more than my expectations.

Immaculate adaptation. Looks and feels and sounds like the games, also "behaves" like the games too.
Obviously, as it is a TV show, TV stuff was added and mixed with it, while all without losing the games vibe, and with TV stuff being pretty good, and well made too. Almost unbelievable that we got a pretty good TV show, that stays true to, and respects the source material, while also capturing the essence of it.., must be one in a hundred, or more likely, a thousand..plus..
Very interested to see what and how it will do with the next, and if that one goes well, other upcoming seasons. Somehow it looks and feels it will be great.

The test of a good TV series is how much you want to watch the next episode after the previous one has finished. Fallout absolutely passes this test, with me wanting to immediately move to the next episode every time.
The first couple of episodes are quite full of exposition and world building, but once the setting is done, the episodes are uniformly excellent.
The story had four main threads; Lucy (the naïve but plucky girl from a vault), Maximus (the idealistic Brotherhood of Steel grunt), Cooper (a ghoul) and Cooper (in flashback, a Hollywood star). The world has a different history to ours; 1950s tech is more advanced, but with the same aesthetics. And the bomb dropped then as well.
The writing builds both character and tension, slowly weaving mystery and reveals, with frequent dark humour and genuine heart. All the characters feel real, despite their bizarre and post-apocalyptic setting, and they all merit empathy.
Roll on season 2!

It took a while for it to click, but by the end of episode three I was hooked. As is often the case, the first two episodes feel a bit disjointed and expository. However, the characters are interesting right from the start. The two main characters in particular, with their naivety and chutzpah, are well drawn and strongly cast. Walton Goggins is the perfect antagonist, who initially comes across as a stereotype that is increasingly deconstructed over time. I don't know the video game at all, but the complexity of the story is impressive without being overwhelming. I'm really looking forward to season 2.
