I a sort of making a statement here, comparing this to the animated Pixar movie "Ratatouille". For some reason, one person (involved with this movie?) thought there was something offensive in here, but there isn't. Make up your own mind, in the following review originally titled: "Ratatouille?" ...

Of course not. But if you have seen that movie, you will wonder how an animated mouse can be emotionally more engaging than a real life human being? And I'm not saying that, because the main actor is weak. It is the story that lacks the drive and the force. You cannot judge the actors, if they have so little to work with. It's almost a shame, because there are a few good hints at where this could go, but unfortunately, it never does achieve anything.

While the mouse did not only have a goal, it was more approachable and you had the feeling that it was more human, even with "lesser" problems. But I'm straying away. There is quite a few things to discover here, and while the ultimate goal seems to be the same, the cook on display here, has other things on his mind, too. It is more complex. And while in the end, it seems to take the easy way out, it might leave you with a good taste ...
