The Lost Boys of Bucks County unravels the shocking serial murders that set ablaze a small community and rocked it to its core.

In the summer of 2017, in Bucks county Pennsylvania, a suburban area of Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Jimmy Patrick, leaves his home ostensibly telling his grandparents he's leaving to hang with friends. But really to go purchase marijuana. He then goes missing and is never heard from again. Not being the typical troublesome type despite being a marijuana smoker, his grandparents contact the local authorities who at first don't take a missing teenager seriously. Lots of people go missing. Not satisfied with the local policing, the grandparents decided to hire a private investigator who is able to produce a lead that Jimmy's cell phone was last recorded in Delaware County Pennsylvania a suburban area on the opposite side of Philadelphia.

Not long after Jimmy Patrick goes missing, in the next town over, another boy, Dean Finocchiaro goes missing. Like Jimmy Patrick, Dean also ostensibly told his father he was going out to hang with friends, but really to purchase marijuana. Dean had a bit more of a troublesome history having several run ins with the local police department due to his love for dirt bikes and ATVing and marijuana. With the local police being familiar with Dean, his family didn't want the local police department to take this case less seriously.

Dean's father takes to Facebook to personally message every single one of Dean's friends to try and get a lead on Dean's whereabouts. Only one friend was unreachable. A boy named Cosmo Dinardo.

At the same time Dean's father was taking matters into his own hands, the local police department wanting to see if Dean's case had any relationship to Jimmy Patrick's case, trace Dean's phone service to a sprawling farm in upper Bucks County. The farm is a property owned by the Dinardo family. Confirming that Cosmo is a likely suspect. So the local police take a drive up to the farm and have a brief search for any signs of the missing boys. While at the farm the police find fresh tire tracks leading to a shed. Inside the shed, is a car that was apparently wanted to be hidden from sight. The car's registration belonging to another boy, Thomas Meo who we learn was also reported missing earlier that day. And to make matters worse, his best friend Mark Sturgis who was last seen with Thomas, is also missing.

With 4 missing people all within a 72 hour span, and Cosmo Dinardo being friends on Facebook with 3/4 missing boys, and Dean's phone last being in service on the Dinardo farm, the police take Cosmo Dinardo in for questioning. Not having enough evidence to hold Cosmo, they're forced to release him.

Not long after Cosmo is released, he's arrested for an unrelated weapons charge. Cosmo wasn't allowed to own a firearm. Cosmo's father immediately posted a 1 million dollar bail to get him out.

With the police having significant leads on the suspect and location, the local authorities bring in a massive investigation team to look for clues on the farm for the lost boys' whereabouts. It is around this time that Jimmy Patrick's phone is retraced in horror to learn that like Dean's, Jimmy's phone was last in service at this farm as well. Upon learning this, local authorities immediately need to get Cosmo off the streets before he can disappear so they apprehend Cosmo for attempting to sell Thomas Meo's car.

In prison Cosmo realizes the game is over. Facing severe charges and possible death penalty, Cosmo takes a confession deal to avoid the death penalty.

The police learn that Cosmo Dinardo was once an exemplary person who's life was turned upside down due to schizophrenia. He lost his scholarship, his girlfriend, his friends, and his health. Going from physically in shape to obese. After several unsuccessful years of battling this mental illness, Cosmo press ganged his cousin Sean Kratz a local burglar, and forced him to take part in a murder rampage. Luring the boys to the farm for ambush. And later unsuccessfully attempting to cremate the bodies to get rid of evidence.

The police apprehend Sean Kratz and work with Cosmo on finding the locations of where he buried the bodies.
