Storyline

Arthur wants to have a family sit down to discuss Michelle and Lofty's pending marriage.

Hannah plans a day of passion with Tony.

Dot is having doubts about Charlie coming back and is on the warpath for Ethel, and threatens to dob her in for not having a license.Ethel and Lofty now work together fortune telling - but Ethel has second thoughts about the arrangement and ends up firing him.

Ange arrives back in the Square without Den, who shows up later on. They argue, then talk - but is it too late for their marriage?

Ethel advises Mary to apologise to Andy, and when he comes around with some books for her, she does so. Mary feels embarrassed about her crush.

Lofty asks formally for Michelle's hand and Arthur gives his consent for Lofty to ask Michelle to marry her.

The episode ends with Den telling Angie that in spite of their earlier talk he is off to see Janine, and then Angie pouring herself a drink.
