Storyline

In Marseille, Max knows his sister isn't in boarding school, so his last address is a bistro, where haughty waiter Michel is uncooperative until he responds to Stephanie's charms. By luck she also finds their the vixen's former lover, gentleman geology student George, who explains she sponged him broke and then duped him. Max's local acquaintance and once one night stand Daphne willingly warns she's a popular socialite parasite. Michel calls a man, apparently the one who comes tail the couple unnoticed. Trent ignores Marlena's abusive rudeness, a warm-up for a maternal tirade at EJ on Sami's account with implicit threat, sees on Nick's computer Max is in France and orders Nicole to find out details, or he'll reveal her worst secret: they are still married.
