  • Liz launches a plan to help Jack find his biological father, and Tracy is conned by man who claims to be his biological son. Meanwhile, Liz and Jenna go to a magazine cover shoot.

Descrizione

  • Open with Jack and Liz discussing the phenomenon that is Jenna's new catchphrase on the show: "That's a deal breaker ladies." Jack references how big this will be for Jenna, forgetting that Liz wrote the line. Jack doesn't want to find out his real father's name.

Jack asks Tracy why he's never tried to find his real father (answer: the man must be dead since he hasn't showed up to mooch off of Tracy). Tracy tells him every man should know his father, adding that he's recently found out about an illegitimate child.

Jenna has begun to take too much credit for the line. Tracy introduces the staff to his love child, Donald, who he has been supporting financially for the past three years. Donald looks to be pretty close to Tracy's age, something which Liz and Pete notice.

Jack has Lenny find the name of his biological father. He opens the envelope and says "Oh God."

Liz and Pete discuss Donald's shadiness and their inability to determine the ages of black people when Toofer walks in the room. They wonder if maybe Donald could be Tracy's son if Tracy is much older than they think. Pete mentions that Tracy falls asleep in his chair a lot, doesn't understand computers and yells at the TV.

Jack pulls Liz into her office and tells her due to limited DNA evidence Lenny was only able to narrow his potential father list to three names. "It's a Mama Mia," Liz says excitedly. Based on Liz's advice they decide to tell all three men they won a trip to New York to see the show. Jack can then meet them and decide if he wants to tell the real father.

Pete and Liz try to confirm Tracy is actually 39. He doesn't recognize the late 80s rap hit It Takes Two, instead breaking into a hit song from the 1930s. Donald walks in and tells them he's 21 and asks Tracy for a blank check so he can open his dojo. Donald and Liz glare at each other.

Liz brings three possible fathers into Jack's office. The first is Korean, the second had his genitals blown off in the war ("Looks like a bowl of SpaghettiOs down there.") and the third is a Professor Milton Green (Alan Alda).

Pete tells Liz that Time Out magazine is going to name Jenna the Funniest Woman in New York. Explaining that she does all the hard behind-the-scenes work, Liz has Pete tell Jenna that she's going to be in the photo shoot with Jenna.

With Pete and Liz looking on, Donald tells Kenneth he is selling magazine to benefit a community center. He takes $80 from Kenneth and tells him he'll get his address later. Pete thinks they have to stop Donald and Liz mentions she had Cerie look into getting Donald's birth certificate. They wonder if Donald is really a karate expert. Lutz walks by and tells them he knows karate.

Jack questions Milton about his genes and religious background. After Milton spots a picture of Tom DeLay it becomes clear he is very liberal-leaning. Jack and Milton heatedly fight about politics until Milton storms out. Milton says "Screw you and your fakakta contest." Jack says to himself: "Oh no."

At the photo shoot Jenna warns Liz not to hold any of the wacky props the photographer will try to use. She thinks they always use the funny picture and "you look like an idiot." When the photographer says a rubber chicken "could make a great chicken" Liz says she will hold the chicken and starts posing for dozens of silly shots as Jenna is moved off camera.

Lutz challenges Donald to a battle of "the art of the empty hand." Donald clearly knows what he's doing and quickly destroys Lutz.

Liz tells Jack the only reason Milton stayed in town was to attend a speech at the New School. Jack thinks they are too different and doesn't want to tell Milton who he is. Jack is worried Milton won't want someone like him as a son. Liz suggests that maybe Milton will hug him and "then you have a Dad."

Liz and Pete get Donald's birth certificate from Cerie. Liz runs to Tracy's office and tells him Donald is actually 40. Tracy tells her he's known the whole time and has just been helping Donald to be a better person. "In the last three years Donald has gone from scamming celebrities to being a small business owner." The dojo is real and the community center is "thriving." Donald walks in and asks Tracy if he wants to come uptown and see the "Tracy Jordan Institute for Black Karate."

Jenna shows Liz the cover of Time Out, which has Liz pretending to give birth to the rubber chicken on a toilet. Jenna tells Liz she tried to warn her. When Jenna walks off Liz's face breaks into a smile: "I'm on the cover."

Milton tells Jack that he rented a room from Colleen (Jack's mother) when he was in grad school. Jack tells Milton he is his son. Milton is overjoyed and gives Jack a huge hug. Jack tells Milton he thinks the experience is amazing. Milton responds: "You don't know the half of it. I need a kidney." They hug again but Jack looks concerned.
