Storyline

The documentary film "We'll Take Care Of You" by filmmakers Lattanzio Firmian and Alberto Baudo exposes the key players of the Vioxx scandal and uses Vioxx as the example of the modus operandi of Big Pharma. Filmaker Lattanzio Firmian and investigative journalist Alberto Baudo show how the pharmaceutical industry markets killer drugs making billions in profits while victims are counted in the hundreds of thousand. Payoffs to prescribers, to FDA committee members, to politicians and to scientists seem to be common industry practices. Threats to scientists and FDA officials who try to warn patients of deadly drug side effects, albeit less common, happen nevertheless, and are well recounted in this very informative, eye opening documentary. An indictment of an indefensible healthcare industry in the U.S. that exposes the health care industrys greed and control over Americas political processes. Everyone taking prescription drugs will be deeply and forever touched by this documentary film....
