An age-old question among military personnel: which branch is the best? Operation Trident Fury was a gathering of powerful military forces for a live fire exercise off the Pacific coast. Weapons systems are pushed to the limit with the goal of sinking the destroyer, HMCS Huron. Watch the fierce competition from air and naval forces as they compete to deal the fatal blow, and Sink the Destroyer.
Not quite impressive and less effective
If this operation really happened during a sea battle, lot of unpredictable things might have happened. Many guns suddenly jammed or malfunctioned without obvious reasons only showed poor maintenance and lack of correct working procedures. The carry-out shooting sequences also showed a poor synchronized order. All the navy guys on the ships didn't show any seriousness to this operation. It took so many ships to come in the range to shoot the target one after another, but no ship really did the fatal damage quickly until it had taken too many canon bullets from many attacking ships. What a joke.
