The trans-national fencing team arrives to practice to find their studio destroyed. They must fix the studio, go to competition, and process their trauma - all while trying to make space for themselves in the sport of fencing.
After an attack on their studio, the Trans-national fencing team can't seem to figure out which way is up. Coach Heath is feeling guilty for endangering their friends and focuses on trying to fix the studio. While Heath tries to distract them selves, the team goes off to competition with out Heath to face a multitude of transphobic and homophobic obstacles. The team must support one another through their various grief processes to truly be a team.
